Member Groups
Here are all the member groups and sub-groups you can be a part of on this site. It's recommended that you read all of them, but you should at least read the supernaturals so you understand how they work on this site. They may be different that what you've seen on TV or in books. Thanks.
SPIES
Most will be members of the CIA, though MI6 and other agencies are accepted. There’s no limit to the number of spies who can know about the existence of vampires and other supernatural creatures, though you are welcome to make one who doesn’t. There are varying levels and ranks within every agency, and every spy has their strengths and weaknesses. Often they are organized into teams or partnerships with a designated team leader, but some agents work separately. Each agent has a clearance level. Level 3 is low, 5 is normal, and 7 is high. There are a total of 10 levels, please be realistic when choosing one. Not all will be operatives, some can be analysts or researchers as well.
Ranks (Junior or Senior can be added to any of these): Advisor, Supervisor, Special Agent, Field Agent, Agent, Operative, Attendant.
Sub-Groups:
Selective Investigations Unit(S.I.U) Member: The Division of the CIA that deals with handling supernatural threats.
Gli Immortales: A program connected to the S.I.U. that involves the use of children(now teenagers ranging from ages 12 to 18) to counteract both supernatural and non-supernatural threats. Note: The name is a mixture of Italian and Latin because Sarah, who coined the name, though this way sounded the best)
Trinity Student/Teacher: Person attending or teaching at the Academy for fostering young spies. Unlike the Gli Immortales, they will not be in the field until they are adults. Some will also go on to attend the adult facility, Mount Olympus. However, they will still be wrapped up in many of the plots and events of the site. Officially, no student knows about the supernaturals, but some have/will uncover the truth.
Churchill Transfer Students: ten students from the Churchill Institute(The British version of Trinity) have been selected to be part of an exchange program in order to foster future cooperation between the two agencies. However, the vampires will kill off one of these ten students in order to create problems for the agency.

VAMPIRES
They are immortal, though not invincible. They have strength, speed, agility, and senses that is 5-10 times that of a normal human. They also have regenerative and super-healing properties. They are an ancient species, so they may be anywhere from a few millennium to approx. 13. Children under 13 usually do not survive the transformation. Age also determines their power. Older are faster, stronger, and heal faster. All species are affected to some degree by sunlight, but the older you get, the less it becomes. They can be killed only with a wooden stake (or some wooden object) through the heart. Wounds from wooden objects also take longer to heal. Fire cannot kill them, but like injuries from wood burns will heal slower than other injuries. There is a compound made from garlic that can weaken them, though pure garlic has no effect. They have an ongoing feud with werewolves, though no one remembers why. Vampires also have coercive powers, the older the vampire, the more powerful this ability is. Only the really powerful vampires can coerce someone into taking their own life, as survival instincts are the hardest thing to overcome, but that won’t stop the younger ones from trying.
Summary:
Strengths: speed, strength, agility, senses, healing, coercive abilities
Weaknesses: sunlight, garlic compound, fire, wooden stakes
Killed: sunlight exposure or wooden stakes
Sunlight's effect:
1-50= any sunlight exposure will instantly kill them
50-100 years=can be out for an hour or two at a time, but will be severely weakened
100-250- can be out for several hours, but will be severely weakened
250-350- can be out for a few days, but will only be 2-3 times stronger than a human
350+- can be out in sunlight indefinitely, only 5 times as strong as a normal human
Sub-Groups:
The Order: A group of vampires dedicated to destroying human society and raising up a vampire civilization. The Original order was established sometime after the fall of the Roman Empire, though it was vanquished by the Legion in the 1500’s. However, the Legion also vanished around this time.

WEREWOLVES
Werewolves can be hereditary or bitten. They age normally, and if hereditary it will usually appear once they hit puberty. When they’re first bitten it can take years before they learn to control the transformation, and in the meantime it varies between each individual as to what will trigger a transformation. All werewolves change on the full moon, regardless. They are only slightly stronger and faster than a human when they’re not a wolf, but when they are a wolf they’re slightly faster and stronger than most vampires. They also have regenerative powers, but only when they’re not in wolf form. However, in wolf form they can only be killed by a silver bullet to the heart. Outside wolf form they can be killed normally. They’re all weakened by wolfsbane. They have an ongoing feud with vampires, which they assume goes back to their origins, but no one remembers how these races originated. Young werewolves will sometimes be taken out by the S.I.U or its FBI counterpart, but as long as the older ones behave they are usually left alone. Some agents choose to enlist their help to take out the vampires, but few choose to comply. They tend to form packs, and will fight each other for control of a territory.
Summary:
Strengths: Superhuman strength and speed(more so in wolf form), regeneration(human form only)
.
Weaknesses: Moon(forces transformation), it takes years to be able to control the transformation, wolfsbane
Killed: Silver bullet to heart in wolf form, normal in human form
.
Created: by hereditary means(wolf gene is always dominant) or through bites.

WITCHES
Witches use magic and brew potions. Magic is directed through spells spoken in their native language. Witches power depends on how well she gathers energy from her environment, which takes years to fully master. Most of their magic is earth-based, and they are best at healing, regenerative spells, and curses. Some witches have discovered how to extend their life, but most age normally. Witch powers also appear somewhere around puberty.
Note: Witches can be either male of female. Male witches are sometimes referred to as warlocks, but it really doesn't matter.
Sub-Groups:
Celeste Students: Witches ages 14-18 may attend this boarding school if they so choose to learn about magic. it's not very well funded, and extremely expensive, so few choose to attend. but those who do will receive an education beyond anything they could get anywhere else. It also accepts witches internationally, so many of its attendees are European.

VILLAINS
Vampires aren’t the only bad guys. Any sort of terrorist, arms dealer, or foreign operative who ruffles the CIA’s feathers would be a welcome addition. But make sure you are very specific about where they’re from and what they’re after. Also note that many of these of villains are being coerced by vampires to act this way.
CIVILIANS
Civilian characters are welcome as well. Some may know about the vampires or other supernatural, and some may have connections to the CIA. As long as you’re realistic though, you can do whatever you want with them.
Sub-Groups
Hunters: Civilian vampire hunters. Some may belong to the legion, a group of hunters, while others may be rogue hunters. The legion understands vampires pretty well, but others may have misconceptions. They may hunt other supernatural species as well. Most exist because they want revenge for a lost loved one, but not all. Often times they get in the way of the Homo sapiens project or the Gli immortalium, but sometimes they are assets to their operations as well.
